Feature Information

The European Co-ordination Centre for Accident and Incident Reporting Systems (ECCAIRS) is a cooperative network of civil aviation authorities and safety investigation authorities in Europe. The ECCAIRS mission is to aid national and European transport entities in the collection, sharing and analysis of safety information in order to improve public transport safety. ECCAIRS relies on a specially designed system called the ECCAIRS Reporting System, that allows European Union member states to collect data and share it. EU member state safety information is held in two central databases, the European Central Repositories for Occurrences (ECR-ECCAIRS) and the European Central Repository for Safety Recommendations (ECR-SRIS).

Through integration, ProSafeT provides the ability to automatically disseminate data to the ECCAIRS Reporting System. ProSafeT seamlessly integrates with the reporting system, providing a streamlined reporting process that eliminates duplication of efforts by automatically submitting relevant reports to ECCAIRS. ProSafeT's Safety Reporting Module includes functionality to submit an ECCAIRS report in parallel with a regular report, creating an automated and streamlined reporting process that encourages ECCAIRS participation. In addition, ProSafeT also has the ability of integrating with other relevant industry entities for participation in various safety initiatives.
