Feature Information
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) Incident Data Exchange (IDX), is currently the largest database of de-identified air safety reports. Using this data, airlines can perform trend analysis to develop risk mitigation strategies for a wide range of areas including airline management, ground handling, maintenance organizations and more.
Through two-way integration, the ProSafeT platform has the capability to automatically disseminate relevant data to IDX as well as pull de-identified data. This integration enables the user to provide additional context to events by accessing and tieing relevant IDX data to Safety Reports, Evaluations and Investigations with ease. Users can also query IDX data for trend analysis to further assist in developing risk mitigation strategies. ProSafeT provides a streamlined IDX reporting process that eliminates duplication of efforts by automatically submitting relevant safety data. In addition, ProSafeT's Safety Reporting Module includes functionality to submit de-identified IDX reports at the same time as regular reports, further enhancing the process.
