The International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. The IOSA audit creates a standard that is comparable on a world-wide basis, enabling and maximizing the joint use of audit reports. This has saved the industry over 6,400 redundant audits and continues to lead to extensive cost-savings for IOSA participating airlines. All IATA members are IOSA-registered and must remain registered to maintain IATA membership. Conversely, IATA membership is not a requirement to undergo an IOSA audit. According to IATA, there are dozens of airlines on the IOSA registry that are not IATA members.

In order to create a streamlined IOSA Audit process, ProSafeT has provided the capability to conduct IOSA Audits within the Safety Assurance Module. The platform will allow users to add the IOSA checklist to an Audit within the system, without the need of manual formatting, and allows users to fill out the checklist within the Module’s mobile responsive platform. ProSafeT also provides streamlined compliance by automatically updating the IOSA checklist to capture changes made by IATA and also allows users to complete/fill IOSA Audits in an offline capacity through use of the Safety Assurance Mobile App.
